For Gas based power plant, Bachmann India had supplied complete set of G T Exhaust By Pass system inclusive of Gas flow control equipments with sealing & also meeting the statutory norms.The supply meant for the unit size ranging from few mega Watt to 250 mega Watt. Lot of equipments & by pass systems supplied.
The system comprising equipments start from gas turbine exhaust flange to the inlet flange of HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generator). In general equipments covered in the by-pass system are: Ducts, Diverter Damper, Guillotine Damper, Expansion Joints, Silencer, Transitions, Vertical Stack & Supporting Structure.
The By-pass system facilitate the plant management to maintain the continuity of power generation even if the HRSG is not installed OR not in operation. By 100% sealing isolation with closed diverter damper & guillotine damper HRSG area is safe for man entry & thus HRSG maintenance work can be carried out with system operation in simple cycle.
On availability of HRSG G T Exhaust gas will be allowed to enter in HRSG thus economical option of power generation is achieved with the added capacity of steam turbine. It result in getting the cheaper power & better plant efficiency.
